Custom mouthguard clinics focused on rangatahi who are active in sports. We partner with local schools, sports clubs, and iwi events to provide affordable mouthguards for Māori youth. At these pop-up clinics, rangatahi can get fitted for professional-grade mouthguards in their school or club colors. We often run these clinics before rugby, league, or hockey seasons start. Alongside fittings, we educate young people about preventing dental injuries and the importance of wearing protection during sports. This service not only protects smiles but also opens conversations with rangatahi about oral health (e.g. discussing smokefree and sugar-free choices) in a casual, approachable setting. It’s about meeting rangatahi where they are, on the field and in the community, and empowering them to look after their hauora.
