Prevention & Restorative Dental Care

Comprehensive general dentistry services delivered with a focus on prevention and minimally invasive care.
In our Invercargill clinic (and via the mobile unit), we offer routine check-ups, X-rays, cleans, and fluoride treatments to keep teeth healthy. Preventive care is emphasised – our oral health therapist can provide deep cleans, oral hygiene instruction, and periodontal (gum health) advice. For restorative needs, we perform fillings, simple extractions, and crown/bridge referrals as needed. We use modern materials and techniques but always in a culturally safe manner, explaining procedures clearly, ensuring informed consent, offering karakia (blessing/prayer) before procedures if patients desire. Pain relief and patient comfort are priorities; we want every manuwhiri (visitor) to feel at ease. Although we are kaupapa Māori in ethos, our clinic is open to all members of the community, everyone receives the same level of compassionate, high-quality care.
Our goal is not only to fix teeth, but to prevent issues long-term through education: every visit includes personalised tips (like brushing technique coaching, flossing demos, or dietary advice) so patients leave feeling empowered to manage their own oral health.
